In the run-up to the 2004 U.S. presidential elections, Kilometer Zero teams distributed more than 30,000 copies of the following pamphlet in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, D.C., Toronto, San Francisco, El Paso, Iowa City, and a dozen other cities. The idea? Seed discontent and raise the expectations of the American people in the hope that they will vote for change.
